Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback. Communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate business objectives effectively.
Models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards by following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives (e.g., store community outreach programs), and ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are resolved. Develops and implements action plans to address deficiencies and leads process improvements to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing and evaluating Profit & Loss statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. Ensures effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrinkage and meet sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties. Sets clear expectations, recognizes associates, and promotes diversity and inclusion. Recruits and develops qualified staff to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, and building accountability. Identifies and communicates goals, measures progress, and addresses improvement opportunities.
Ensures compliance with company policies and supports the company's mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and supporting the Open Door Policy.

Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
