Job summary

Bayer is seeking an Operations professional in the US to oversee Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities for Hematology and Specialty Pharma. You will coordinate accounts, billing, and cash collection while guiding third-party operations and ensuring compliant processes.

You will drive readiness across data, systems, traceability and government pricing programs, coordinating with IT, Master Data, Regulatory and Commercial teams to deliver reliable supply and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree with equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration.
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner‑managed, 3PL‑supported, or contract‑controlled supply models.
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations.
• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical design across IT and business functions; translate regulatory, data, and system requirements into actionable readiness actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support; oversight of third-party operations and escalation on issues.
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models; act as SME for contracts, controls and audits.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers; strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing.
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, pricing, contracting and government programs.
• Align cross-functional requirements and controls with interfacing functions such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access and external partners.
• Lead integrated cluster plans; maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths for PMO and leadership.
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions on NDC-12 readiness and evolving external expectations.
