Job summary

SureWerx, a leading safety and equipment manufacturer, is seeking a Payroll and Benefits Manager for the US. Based at our US Headquarters in Elgin, IL, this full-time hybrid role manages end-to-end US payroll and benefits across multiple states and locations, supports acquisitions, and partners with Finance, HR, and vendors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and process improvements.

You will lead payroll governance, benefit programs, open enrollment, HRIS integrations, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive payroll and benefits experience.
• Experience processing multi-site, multi-state U.S. payrolls.
• Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms Paychex, Dayforce and HiBob.
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions or business integrations.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. employees across states and sites.
• Oversee benefits administration including open enrollment and vendor relations.
• Lead payroll compliance, audits, and year-end reporting.
• Support mergers, acquisitions and HRIS integrations.
• Drive process improvements and payroll governance with cross-functional teams.
