Job summary

Manitou Group in West Bend, Wisconsin invites an experienced Payroll and Benefits Specialist to join our US and Canada payroll team. You will manage biweekly payrolls via Paylocity for about 1,000 employees, while administering benefits, leave programs, and wellness initiatives.

This role partners with HR, Finance, and Operations to ensure accuracy and compliance. The position offers a base salary with a performance based quarterly bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of payroll processing.
• One year of benefits and leave of absence administration.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Excellent problem solving/judgement skills.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payrolls for US and Canada in Paylocity for 1,000 employees.
• Administer employee benefits—enrollments and terminations—and manage leave programs.
• Coordinate FMLA, ADA accommodations, parental leave, and disability programs.
• Ensure data integrity and vendor/biller reconciliation.
• Audit payroll/benefits data and improve HR workflows.
