Job summary

LaSalle Network, on behalf of Chicago's hunger-relief organizations, seeks a Senior Manager, Payroll & Benefits to lead payroll, benefits, HR systems, leave administration, and compliance. You will own the function's effectiveness and drive improvements with vendors and internal partners.

Responsibilities include end-to-end bi-weekly payroll, open enrollment, benefits renewals, data integrity across HRIS, and reporting to leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, business, accounting or finance.
• 7+ years in payroll/benefits/HR operations or similar.
• Experience managing full-cycle payroll for multi-state populations.
• Knowledge of ACA, wage-and-hour, garnishments, audits and taxes.
• Experience leading Open Enrollment and benefits renewals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end bi-weekly payroll processing and accuracy.
• Manage payroll tax filings, reconciliations, year-end processing and reporting.
• Administer health and welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefits.
• Coordinate Open Enrollment and vendor evaluations.
• Act as Paycom and HRIS administrator with data integrity management.
• Create reports and dashboards for leadership; monitor compliance.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
