US Lead Engagement Manager
Elevate is recruiting for a US Lead Engagement Manager for our ElevateFlex flexible resourcing business as we grow. The role focuses on understanding the customer’s needs, providing resourcing, consulting, and solution designing, selecting and vetting candidates from our Talent Community (working with our Talent Acquisition function to source new candidates), presenting them to the customer, negotiating all aspects of the engagement with both the customer and the Talent, and providing ongoing engagement management throughout its duration. In addition to the tactical function, the US Lead Engagement Manager focuses, together with Sales, on developing and maintaining a long‑term customer relationship to ensure we are their continued supplier of choice for flexible legal support.
ElevateFlex provides flexible contract resourcing solutions to our law department and law firm customers worldwide. Our global Talent Community includes paralegals, legal operations professionals, and attorneys of all specializations and experience.
Base Pay Range
$120,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for the management and deployment of our ElevateFlex Talent onto interim and permanent engagements based on skills, experience, and availability.
- Work closely with the Talent Team to deploy new joiners, while balancing the redeployment of the existing team to increase recruitment levels and maximize utilization.
- Lead on Talent sourcing and shortlisting and briefing them on roles and opportunities, as required.
- Interview all candidates you end up submitting to customer.
- Effectively develop and continuously build relationships with all major stakeholders.
- Maintain ongoing direct contact with customers to understand their resourcing requirements, budgets, any challenges and discuss how ElevateFlex can provide them with optimal resourcing solutions.
- Conduct regular feedback sessions with relevant contacts, ensuring appropriate action is taken as and when required.
- Negotiate rates and terms with all customers to ensure margins are met, and forge long‑standing relationships, often proposing creative and bespoke solutions.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with Talent on engagement and Customers through regular contact and customer Insights program.
- Ensure all new customers and new engagements follow ElevateFlex process, and all necessary paperwork has been completed before we engage in work, e.g., engagement forms and new customer/matter process has been followed.
- Maintain applicant tracking system with accurate information, including vacancy and placement lists and other ongoing activity.
- Attend internal meetings and provide regular reporting on the resourcing function.
- Work alongside Elevate’s Legal Team and Sales when negotiating contracts with new customers.
- Work closely with the Sales function to ensure the potential new customer/engagement pipeline interfaces with resource and deployment function and to identify opportunities.
Experience
- Experience as an Engagement Manager (or equivalent) in the legal industry, ideally interim (but not essential) gained in a recruitment agency, on‑site, or in‑house recruitment or HR function.
- A proven track record of working successfully within a target‑driven environment (individual and team targets) and demonstrated ability to be a real and flexible team player.

Technical Skills
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Applicant tracking system (Bullhorn preferred), recruitment or CRM database familiarity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- JD highly preferred.
Compensation
- US national salary range: $120,000–$155,000. The range is based on job‑related skills, experience, level, and location. In addition, Elevate offers full‑time employees a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.
