Job summary

Port.io is seeking an IT Specialist to support our US offices and global teams. You will handle day-to-day IT support, onboarding/offboarding, hardware provisioning, and endpoint management across Boston and remote US staff.

You’ll manage SaaS apps, security compliance, and onsite IT operations for North America sites while using AI tools to streamline tasks and documentation. Office 3 days/week, with 2 days remote.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT support, systems administration, and endpoint management in tech companies.
• Strong macOS expertise and device management tools (JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune).
• Experience supporting SaaS business apps like Slack, Zoom, Jira, Notion.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and SOC2/ISO frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day IT support for Boston-based and remote US staff.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding, provisioning, and hardware setup.
• Oversee endpoint configuration and lifecycle per security standards.
• Support corporate apps (Google Workspace, Jumpcloud, Zoom, Slack, Jira, Notion).
• Coordinate onsite IT operations for NA sites and support new office openings.
• Ensure compliance with SOC2 controls and security policies.
• Leverage AI tools to automate IT workflows and document processes.
