Job summary

Humanoid in Boston is seeking an IT Office Support Engineer to be the primary IT presence for the local office and lab environment. You’ll support day-to-day IT needs, rollout endpoint management tooling, and help build scalable IT infrastructure while collaborating with a technical team across London, Boston, and Vancouver.

The right candidate will delivery value quickly, communicate clearly with highly technical colleagues, and align with broader IT policies and direction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support or office-based technical support (L1/L2).
• Hands-on with Windows, macOS and Linux endpoints (configuration, enrollment, provisioning).
• Strong knowledge of MDM/EMM platforms and endpoint management.
• Experience supporting highly technical users (engineers and developers).
• Proactive problem-solver who follows security and policy standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the local IT point of contact for the office, delivering L1/L2 support.
• Configure, enroll, and provision Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints per runbooks.
• Own local rollout of JumpCloud MDM and device policy configuration.
• Maintain asset records in Jira Assets and support procurement tasks.
• Manage meeting rooms and AV systems, including Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, and Teams.
• Perform basic networking tasks and document infrastructure for audit and compliance.
• Follow Jira Service Management processes for incidents, requests, and changes.
