Job summary

Humanoid in Boston is seeking an IT Office Support Engineer to be the primary IT presence in the office and lab, supporting day‑to‑day IT needs, rolling out endpoint management tooling, and managing hardware procurement and asset records to help build scalable IT foundations.

You will work closely with a highly technical team that values autonomy, communicate clearly with engineers and operations staff, and collaborate with IT colleagues across London, Boston, and Vancouver to deliver reliable,

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT support experience (L1/L2).
• Hands-on experience with Windows, macOS and Linux endpoints (Ubuntu).
• MDM/EMM platform experience (e.g., JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune).
• Able to communicate with highly technical users (engineers and developers).
• Proactive problem-solving with adherence to security policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact for the local office, delivering responsive L1/L2 support.
• Configure and enroll endpoints across Windows, macOS, and Linux; roll out MDM.
• Manage IT hardware procurement and asset records in Jira Assets.
• Own AV and meeting room support including Google Meet, Zoom Rooms, and Teams.
• Perform basic networking tasks and support lab/network infrastructure.
• Follow incident, request, and change processes in Jira Service Management; document runbooks.
