Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. You will coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance, and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires strong macOS expertise and collaboration across Security, Facilities, and People Ops to ensure seamless employee experiences. You will work in Bellevue/San Francisco/Mountain View offices with five days in the office per week, and

Qualifications

• Strong technical IT background with macOS focus and Windows familiarity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience with identity management and device management tools.
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and manage inventory.
• Background supporting AV for large in-person events is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Improve Support Systems and Processes: identify opportunities and maintain repeatable workflows.
• Act as Frontline IT Support: troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
