Job summary

Invenia is hiring its first US Field Service Engineer to lead technical support in the Americas as the initial systems go live, backed by an experienced European team. You will install, calibrate, repair, and support advanced microscopy equipment on customer sites, with travel across the US and collaboration with Europe on complex issues.

You will bring 3+ years in field service or technical support, hands-on microscopy mastery, and strong troubleshooting skills, plus a US driving licence and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in field service or technical support in life sciences, diagnostics or medical devices.
• Genuine hands-on advanced microscopy experience and a real understanding of the instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, calibrate and repair advanced microscopy systems on customer sites.
• Provide on-site and remote support, troubleshooting across hardware, software, lasers, cameras and optics.
• Deliver customer demos and training, and manage your own diary, travel and spare parts across the US.
• Work with engineering and R&D teams in Europe on tougher issues and product feedback.
