Job summary

Echo is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Boston area to provide on-site, remote, and in-house technical support for our advanced microscopy systems. This role includes maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure minimal customer downtime and high-quality performance.

The ideal candidate has strong technical and communication skills, experience with diagnostic tools, the ability to work independently, and must be able to travel across the United States and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of technical experience.
• 3+ years of customer support experience.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site, remote, and in-house service for Echo microscope systems.
• Perform maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Travel frequently, up to three days per trip, across the United States and occasionally internationally.
• Document service activities and write reports.
