Job summary

Bayer, headquartered in the United States, seeks an operations leader to oversee daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash processes across the Hematology and Specialty Pharma portfolio in the US market. You will ensure reliable supply, compliant service delivery, and high customer satisfaction while coordinating data, systems, traceability, pricing, and government programs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Healthcare, Information Systems or related field with 5+ years of experience
• Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare customer operations, supply chain, master data and systems integration
• Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments and with serialized, specialty, temperature-sensitive, partner-managed, 3PL-supported, or contract-controlled supply models is preferred
• Strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, customer and product master data, EDI/API interfaces, serialization or traceability, inventory and partner operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute daily Order-to-Bill and Bill-to-Cash activities, including account setup, customer service, order processing, billing, reconciliation and cash-collection support
• Maintain oversight of third-party operations and serve as escalation point for operational, customer, supply and billing issues
• Drive compliant process improvements, support launches and new business or supply models, and act as SME for contracts, operational controls and audit inquiries
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on logistics and supply chain operations to develop tailored solutions for customers
• Cultivate and strengthen relationships with account managers, sales, finance, and marketing teams to enhance customer engagement
• Coordinate NDC-12 impact assessments and readiness activities across master data, SAP and system interfaces, serialization, customer operations, pricing, contracting, government pricing and special programs
• Align cross-functional requirements and standards with interfacing functions such as IT, Master Data, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Market Access, Legal, Compliance and external partners
• Lead the integrated cluster plans and maintain project risks, decisions, dependencies, readiness metrics, documentation and escalation paths
• Maintain alignment with industry discussions regarding NDC-12 implementation and Bayer's readiness approach
