Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a Motorola Solutions subsidiary, is seeking a Business Development Engineer for the US Air Force to bridge RF capabilities with customer requirements. You will support field trials, demos, and RFI/RFP responses while traveling up to 50% to showcase performance across airborne, surface, and expeditionary environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related C5ISR field with 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze US Air Force priorities (DAF Battle Network, ACE, ABMS) and map requirements to radio solutions.
• Plan network configurations and supervise field trials, modernizations, and user evaluations.
• Collaborate with Engineering and BD teams to validate architectures and interface with customers.
• Present technical demonstrations for airborne, edge, and expeditionary networking needs.
• Support RFI/RFP responses with technical input and review.
