Beacon Clinic Inc. is seeking a Surgery Scheduler/Prior Authorization for Urology to join our team.

This role focuses on scheduling urologic surgeries and procedures while managing prior authorizations and coordinating with patients, providers, insurers, and ancillary departments for timely case flow. The ideal candidate has experience in medical scheduling, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Schedule urology surgeries, elective procedures, and pre/postoperative appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance coverage, and eligibility.
• Initiate and track prior authorization requests until resolution.
• Coordinate with urologists, OR staff, billing, and case management for readiness.
• Maintain accurate scheduling logs and documentation.
• Educate patients on pre-op instructions, arrival times, and testing.
• Ensure compliance with payer requirements and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate last-minute changes and urgent authorizations.
