Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service experience.
• Knowledge of medical office operations including scheduling, registration, EMR, patient flow, billing, coding, referrals, authorizations, payer guidelines, compliance and credentials.
• Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and data management functions in support of patient registration, scheduling, referral coordination, phone management and other patient care coordinator duties.
• PCC is the primary access point for patients and their families and is responsible that the patient receives timely, efficient and compassionate customer service.
