Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform digital radiographic studies per provider orders. The role requires ARRT certification and may involve travel to support providers at multiple facilities.

Expect to work in a fast-paced radiology setting, maintain patient safety, and document encounters in the EMR while coordinating with the care team to ensure timely, accurate imaging services.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification/registration is required for this radiology role.
• State licensure is preferred where applicable.
• Experience with radiology information systems and electronic health records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning and protection.
• Sets up equipment, immobilization devices, and ensures patient safety and comfort.
• Documents patient encounters in EMR accurately and timely.
• Maintains knowledge of equipment and factors to safeguard patient and staff; may travel to off-site facilities as needed.
