Job summary

Mercy Health in Toledo, OH is seeking an X-Ray Technician to perform provider-ordered radiographic studies, position patients safely, and document encounters in the EMR. The role requires ARRT certification (state licensure preferred) and BLS as available, with about 1 year of related experience.

Proficiency with EPIC EHR and PACS is preferred, with willingness to travel to other facilities as needed. You will work within a team to uphold safety standards, manage equipment, and support quality

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification preferred or required by state
• 1 year experience in radiation safety and patient care preferred
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely performs provider-ordered radiographic examinations with proper patient positioning
• Documents patient encounters in EMR and maintains accurate records
• Sets up equipment and ensures safety of patient and staff during exams
• Maintains and calibrates radiology equipment and adheres to infection control
• May travel to other facilities to support providers and adjust hours as needed
