Northwest Urgent Care in Tucson, AZ is seeking a TEMP Patient Services Representative for the urgent care center. You will be the first point of contact, handling patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments with a focus on a positive patient experience.

This role requires strong front-desk professionalism, accurate data entry, and ability to navigate EMR systems. Twelve-hour shifts, some weekends/holidays, and travel to other locations may be required.

Formación

• 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, or healthcare front office experience required.
• Prior experience in a clinic, urgent care, or physician office setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a fast-paced clinic environment.
• Register patients by verifying demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Collect copays and balances, post payments, and issue receipts.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals.
• Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries.
• Ensure forms and documents are completed and scanned into the EMR.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations or referrals as needed.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area cleanliness and organization.
