CHS Career Site is seeking a TEMP Patient Services Representative for the Northwest Urgent Care in Tucson, AZ. This role is the first point of contact for patients, handling registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and payments with a focus on accuracy and patient experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of front office or healthcare support experience, is comfortable with EMR systems, and can work 12-hour shifts including some weekends.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of customer service, administrative, or healthcare front office experience required.
• Prior experience in a clinic, urgent care, or physician office setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors promptly and professionally.
• Registers patients by verifying demographic, insurance, and financial information accurately.
• Collects copays and balances, posts payments, and provides receipts.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and coordinates referrals.
• Answers multi-line phones and responds to patient inquiries.
• Ensures forms and documents are completed and scanned into the EMR.
• Maintains front desk cleanliness and organization.
• Communicates effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff to support patient flow.
• Maintains patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA.
