Northwest Urgent Care in Oro Valley, AZ is seeking a TEMP Patient Services Representative to join a fast-paced clinic team. The role focuses on patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and payment collection to ensure a smooth patient experience.

The position requires strong customer service and data-entry skills, proficiency with EMR systems, and the ability to work 12‑hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of customer service, administrative, or front office experience preferred.
• Experience in a clinic or urgent care setting is a plus.
• Proficiency with EMR and scheduling tools required.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming manner.
• Register patients by verifying demographics, insurance, and financial details.
• Collect copays and balances; post payments and provide receipts.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Answer multi‑line calls and assist inquiries; route to appropriate departments.
• Ensure forms and consent documents are completed and scanned into the EMR.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area cleanliness and organization.
• Protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA and OSHA policies.
