CHS Career Site seeks a Patient Services Representative for the Endocrinology Clinic in La Cholla, Tucson. The role supports front desk operations, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and time-of-service collections in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

You will work with providers and staff to ensure smooth clinic flow, accurate EMR data, and a positive patient experience. Strong communication and multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a clinic, medical office, or similar healthcare setting required.
• Experience in patient services, billing, or front desk operations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register patients in the EMR system with accurate information.
• Check patients in/out, collect and post copays, deductibles, and balances.
• Verify insurance eligibility and scan insurance cards at visits.
• Ensure required consents and PHI forms are completed.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments; document cancellations or rescheduling reasons.
• Assist with charge entry and ensure daily charges align with provider codes.
• Respond to patient inquiries and maintain professional communication per guidelines.
• Monitor waiting areas and address patient concerns to support timely service.
• Conduct daily lobby walk-throughs and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Provide general administrative support to clinic staff and providers.
