CHS Career Site is seeking a Customer Service focused Patient Services Representative in Tucson. You will handle front desk duties, patient check-in/out, insurance verification, scheduling, and cash handling to support smooth clinic operations.

You will work closely with providers and staff to ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining HIPAA standards and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in healthcare admin, business, or related field.
• 0–1 years of experience in a clinic, medical office or similar setting required.
• Experience in patient services, billing, or front desk is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Register patients in the clinic EMR with accurate info for new and returning patients.
• Check in/out patients at front desk, process copays and payments.
• Verify demographics and insurance eligibility; scan insurance cards.
• Ensure consents and PHI forms are signed and filed.
• Schedule and manage appointments; document cancellations in EMR.
• Assist with charge entry and daily encounter closure.
