Job summary

Bon Secours Urgent Care in Greer is seeking a Patient Services Representative to register patients, verify demographics, obtain insurance cards, and identify patients. You will schedule appointments, transcribe orders, and explain financial options while maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.

The role may require covering other physician practice locations and requires strong communication, data-entry accuracy, and knowledge of patient flow within a busy clinic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior healthcare patient registration experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and provide excellent customer service in a respectful manner.
• Schedule appointments and schedule/enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information for registration.
• Assist with referrals and follow-up scheduling as needed.
• Assist with reconciling cash drawer and collecting patient payments as needed.
