Bon Secours Mercy Health in Greer, SC is seeking a Patient Services Representative for our Doctor's Family Medicine practice. You will be the first line of quality service, handling patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification and patient education while supporting the community with compassionate care.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, and cash handling skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient registration/healthcare preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to verify insurance and collect patient payments.
• Proficiency with scheduling and MyChart.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary point of contact between patients and physician practices.
• Greet patients and the community with respectful communication and provide excellent customer service.
• Schedule appointments, enter information into the scheduling system, and manage patient flow.
• Verify demographics and insurance, collect payments, and reconcile cash drawer daily.
• Process admissions paperwork and pre-certifications as applicable.
• Assist with referrals and online scheduling/MyChart.
• Obtain authorizations and maintain patient charts per policy.
• Refer to financial counselors when needed.
