Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care in Colorado is seeking a Medical Assistant to join a fast-paced, team-oriented clinic. You will support providers with exams, take vitals, perform patient care, and assist with front desk duties as needed.

We value patient-centered service, strong teamwork, and compliance with EMR/EHR systems. A valid MA credential or equivalent training with certification is required, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide urgent care network.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed an APPROVED (accredited) Medical Assistant training program.
• National Certification through CMA, RMA or CCMA via AAMA/AMT/NHA or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assists providers with exams, records vitals, and performs patient care under supervision.
• Administers medications per policy and safety protocols.
• Draws blood and may collect urine for testing and employer screens.
• Performs splinting, casting, and sports physicals as needed.
• Maintains EMR/EHR proficiency and supports front desk as required.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Approved Medical Assistant training program

National certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA)
