NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to support fast-paced clinical operations in our Texas clinics. You will assist providers with exams, take vitals, perform basic procedures, and handle front-office tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Medical Assistant training program, with certification preferred. Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus, and a team-focused attitude will help you thrive in

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant MA training completed.
• Certification as CMA/CCMA/RMA preferred.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems is required or advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assist providers with exams and patient vitals under supervision.
• Administer medications per policy and provider direction; follow safety protocols.
• Perform blood draws and urine collections as directed by the provider.
• Support front office tasks and patient flow during busy clinic hours.
• Maintain EMR/EHR documentation accuracy and comply with lab policies.
