You will manage front-office operations, assist with administrative tasks, and support clinic workflow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

This full-time on-site role emphasizes customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork, with travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as required.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• Experience: 1+ year in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, multitasking in a busy environment.
• Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills; EMR software experience (EPIC preferred).
• Flexibility: Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including some weekends and holidays.
• Team player: Proactive, friendly, patient-focused approach to service.

Responsibilities

• Warm welcome: Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and business documentation: Maintain confidentiality while organizing documents.
• Insurance verification: Analyze benefits, verify eligibility, and explain policies.
• Financial responsibility: Collect patient payments and explain costs.
• Collaborative support: Assist practice manager, providers, and staff.
• Compliance: Follow HIPAA, OSHA, and guidelines in documentation and processes.
• Administrative duties: Perform office procedures and operate office equipment.
• Quality assurance: Ensure compliance with QA programs and patient result trackers.
• Travel requirement: Travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
