Prisma Health Urgent Care in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the friendly first contact for patients and visitors. You will handle front-office operations, assist with administrative tasks, and support clinic workflow in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You should excel in customer service, problem-solving, and teamwork, with 1+ year of healthcare front-desk experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Warm Welcome: Greet and assist all patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Patient and Business Documentation: Maintain confidentiality while collecting and organizing documents.
• Insurance Verification: Verify eligibility and provide payment policies and billing information.
• Financial Responsibility: Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Collaborative Support: Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff as needed.
• Compliance: Follow HIPAA and OSHA standards and guidelines.
• Administrative Duties: Perform office procedures and operate medical equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality programs and patient trackers.
• Travel Requirement: Support staffing at other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
