Prisma Health Urgent Care is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact, delivering a welcoming and efficient patient experience. You will manage front-office duties, assist with administrative tasks, and support clinic workflow in a team-driven healthcare setting.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a proactive, patient-focused approach. Training and growth opportunities are available within Prisma Health Urgent Care.

Qualifications

• Front-desk patient support and administrative tasks.
• Ability to handle confidential information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and multitasking in a busy clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Maintain and organize patient and business documentation.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain payment policies to patients.
• Collect and communicate patient financial responsibilities clearly.
• Assist the practice manager, providers, and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards in documentation and processes.
• Perform general administrative duties and operate office medical equipment.
• Monitor quality assurance and patient result trackers in CLIA-waived setting.
• Travel to other Prisma Health Urgent Care locations as needed.
