Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is hiring a Medical Front Office Receptionist to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will collect patient and insurance data, input into the EMR system, and manage appointments while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will support daily deposits, reconciliations and clinic housekeeping, ensuring smooth patient flow, a positive environment, and accurate reimbursement processes across our growing network.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer-friendly and passionate employees to work in a fast-paced clinic.
• Ability to input patient data into EMR system and handle insurance forms.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from patients and input into EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and place patients into rooms as needed.
• Complete insurance forms for registration to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliation, and statistics.
• Maintain front office supplies and functioning equipment.
• Answer phones with quality customer service.
• Keep waiting area and restrooms clean and professional.
• Manage patient appointments via NextCare website.
• Notify back office of urgent medical concerns.
• Educate patients about NextCare services for visits.
• Notify Clinic Manager of patient or employee safety concerns.
• Perform other duties as described by policy.
