Job summary

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking an energetic Medical Front Office Receptionist to join our fast-paced clinic team in Oklahoma City. The role is the first point of contact for patients, managing wait times, admissions, billing, and scheduling while delivering excellent customer service.

You will input patient information into the EMR, assist with registrations and insurance forms, and maintain a welcoming front office environment to support efficient patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Administrative Assistant certificate or equivalent is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from patients and input into EMR.
• Monitor patient flow and room assignments as needed.
• Process registrations and required insurance forms for proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliations, and statistics.
• Maintain front office supplies and functioning equipment.
• Answer phones with quality customer service.
• Keep waiting area and restrooms clean and presentable.
• Schedule patient appointments via NextCare website.
• Notify back office of urgent medical concerns.
• Educate patients about NextCare services for current/next visit.
• Report safety concerns to Clinic Manager.
