NextCare Urgent Care seeks a proactive Medical Front Office Receptionist to join a fast-paced clinic team. You will be the first point of contact, informing families about wait times, guiding patients through the flow, and processing admissions with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: Minimum two years in registration or front office in a physician's office, hospital emergency department or urgent care setting.
• Skills: Ability to multi-task, provide quality customer service, prioritize and think critically.

Responsibilities

• Obtain personal and insurance data from the patient and input into the EMR system.
• Monitor patient flow and assign rooms as needed.
• Complete insurance forms for registration for proper reimbursement.
• Prepare daily deposits, reconciliations, and daily statistics.
• Ensure front office supplies and equipment function properly.
• Answer calls with quality customer service.
• Maintain a clean patient waiting area reflecting a positive NextCare image.
• Manage patient appointments scheduled via the NextCare website.
