Job summary

KIPP New Orleans Schools is seeking dedicated teachers for our classrooms in New Orleans. You will deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM, plan units, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learners, with a focus on data-driven planning and feedback.

You will collaborate with DSS/ESL staff, maintain accurate grades, and participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives to support student growth and belonging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for all KNOS teachers.

• Offers contingent upon successful completion of background checks, identity verification, and work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM and communicate daily objectives.
• Plan and adapt units to build conceptual understanding and align rubrics to standards.
• Use data to drive instruction and maintain trackers for planning.
• Differentiate with fidelity and coordinate with DSS/ESL staff for accommodations.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback and manage accurate grades and makeup work.
• Engage in PD/PLCs and contribute artifacts showing PD-to-practice transfer.
