Job summary

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and a strong commitment to KNOS beliefs. Strong candidates will have urban teaching experience and a valid state teaching credential where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required; a state teaching credential is strongly preferred.
• Strong preference for at least two years of teaching experience in urban, open enrollment schools.
• Demonstrated success raising student achievement outcomes.
• Proof of identity and work authorization (I-9) and a state background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards‑aligned instruction using HQIM; communicate daily objectives and success criteria; check for understanding.
• Differentiate and scaffold for diverse learners with fidelity; coordinate with DSS/ESL staff.
• Plan and adapt units to build conceptual understanding; design assessments and provide timely feedback.
• Use data to inform instruction and maintain transparent grades and make‑up work systems.
