KIPP New Orleans Schools (KNOS) is seeking qualified teachers to join a network of 13 charter schools serving nearly 5,000 students. The role emphasizes rigorous, standards-aligned instruction, high expectations, and culturally sustaining practices.

Qualificações

• Two years of teaching experience in urban, open enrollment schools (preferred).
• Proven ability to raise student achievement outcomes.
• State teaching credential and ongoing professional development.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using HQIM; communicate daily objectives and success criteria.
• Plan and adapt units and lessons to build conceptual understanding and fluency; align rubrics to standards.
• Use data to drive instruction: analyze daily work, interims, and state assessments; reteach and spiral as needed.
• Differentiate and scaffold using diverse strategies; coordinate with DSS/ESL staff to support students with IEP/504 plans.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback and maintain transparent grades and make-up work systems.
• Lead and participate in data meetings to create reteach plans and assess progress.
• Uphold school culture with safe routines, high expectations, and restorative practices.
