Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required to teach in U.S. public or charter schools.
• Personal affinity to our mission and beliefs; commitment to equity and community.
• Offers contingent upon successful completion of background checks and I-9 verification.
• At least two years of teaching experience in urban, open enrollment schools; proven student achievement growth.
• State issued teaching credential required; strong instructional planning and collaboration skills.
• Ability to plan and implement standards-aligned instruction and assessments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Plan/adapt units and lessons to build conceptual understanding and fluency; script questions and models.
• Use data to drive instruction; analyze assessments and adjust plans accordingly.
• Differentiate and scaffold with fidelity for diverse learners, including IEP/504 accommodations.
• Structure purposeful practice with independent work, small groups, and student discourse.
• Provide timely, actionable feedback and maintain accurate grades and make-up work systems.
• Design and implement common assessments; ensure alignment and reliability.
