Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro seeks an Extension Agent for 4-H in Guilford County to lead planning, delivery, and evaluation of comprehensive 4-H programs for urban limited-resource youth ages 5–19, with a strong STEM emphasis and leadership development.

You will collaborate with community partners, conduct needs assessments, organize clubs and after-school/summer programs, and evaluate outcomes to measure impact.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in field related to child or youth development is preferred and two+ years’ experience with limited-resource youth.
• Bachelor’s degree with GPA criteria or higher is acceptable with related work experience.
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and evaluate comprehensive 4-H educational programs for Guilford County youth aged 5–19.
• Collaborate with county and community partners to deliver, recruit, and assess programs.
• Conduct needs assessments and organize materials for formal and informal settings.
• Evaluate program impact using data from advisory members, residents, and participants.
