Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University seeks an Extension Agent - 4H (Guilford County) to plan, deliver, and assess comprehensive 4-H programs for urban youth aged 5–19. The role emphasizes leadership and workforce skills with a strong STEM component, working with diverse communities in Guilford County.

You will collaborate with partners, conduct needs assessments, and manage delivery across clubs, camps, school programs, and enrichment activities, evaluating impact to guide future programming.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in child or youth development or related field is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with GPA criteria; work experience in Extension or diverse communities is valued.
• Ability to work independently and with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate 4-H educational programs for Guilford County youth 5–19.
• Collaborate with community organizations to recruit participants and deliver content.
• Assess needs, prioritize actions, and communicate program materials effectively.
• Evaluate outcomes using diverse data sources and adapt programs accordingly.
