North Carolina Cooperative Extension provides access to resources and expertise of NC State University and NC A&T State University. The individual will provide leadership for the total 4-H youth program and will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating programs for youth ages 5–19, program staff, and volunteers.
Volunteer recruitment and development experience and program development skills are important.
Experience in grant writing and management is preferred.
One of the following educational requirements:
Experience working with various audiences and demonstrated leadership, communication, grantsmanship, public relations, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. Self-directed with a strong work ethic.
Preferred: Knowledge of developmental needs of children ages 5–19.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation required. North Carolina driver’s license must be obtained within 60 days of hire.
Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., with evenings and weekends as required. Total 40 Hours Per Week.
Minimum Bachelor's: $40,000; Minimum Master's: $45,000; Minimum Doctorate: $50,000, commensurate with experience.
