Job summary

West Shore is seeking a Leasing Consultant for one of our apartment communities in a fast-paced, upscale setting. You will greet prospects, tour properties, respond to inquiries and move leases through to completion, with a focus on delivering superior customer service and meeting leasing targets.

The role offers an hourly wage with a generous commission structure, full medical and dental benefits, paid holidays and opportunities for advancement within a promote-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• Polished, engaging and energetic sales experience required.
• Experience in high-end retail, leasing or hospitality a plus.
• Commitment to delivering superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet, greet, and tour leasing prospects.
• Ensure that both individual and group leasing targets are achieved and communicate opportunities or threats.
• Ensure that all online rental inquiries are responded to quickly and effectively.
• Understand site leasing trends, traffic patterns and product availability.
• Maintain sales and leasing models to high standards and report issues.
• Maintain the tour route with high cleanliness and address problems.
• Close the leasing process by asking for the sale.
• Enter lead information correctly in Resman and Knock.
• Follow up with prospects via email, phone or letter.
• Manage the community waitlist and communicate changes.
• Warm call prospects as needed.
• Ensure proper execution of screening procedures.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and move-in paperwork.
• Collect all funds and move-in related fees.
• Display and maintain model open signs daily.
• Support customer service efforts at the community.
