Job summary

Choice Hotels International, Inc. is seeking an Area Director, Upscale Franchise Performance to drive financial, commercial, operational, and guest-experience improvements across a portfolio of upscale, select-service, and full-service hotels.

You will partner with franchisees, property leaders, and above-property teams to translate strategies into actionable actions. The role focuses on RevPAR, ADR, market share, profitability, and guest satisfaction, providing leadership without direct reports

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in hospitality, franchise performance or revenue management.
• Experience advising hotel owners and leaders on performance improvements.
• Experience with upscale, select-service or full-service hotels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor translating brand strategies into property actions.
• Analyze market trends to identify revenue growth opportunities.
• Diagnose performance gaps and develop property-specific plans.
• Coach GMs and hotel leaders on operational and guest-experience improvements.
