Fix Group Management is seeking a proactive Service Advisor for our busy Indiana auto repair shop. You will greet customers, document vehicle concerns, and explain repairs and costs while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely service and high customer satisfaction.

In this role you will update customers on progress, build value for recommended work, and manage repair orders from check-in to invoicing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Service Advisor or related role.
• Ability to work in a high-distraction environment and complete tasks on time.
• Proficient with Windows OS and standard office software.
• Fluent in English, written and verbal.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a calculator.
• Physical ability to enter/exit vehicles and drive with passengers.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and collect check-in information including VIN, mileage, build date and concerns.
• Perform vehicle walkarounds, take photos and document condition.
• Ensure technician recommendations are well-documented and clarified if needed.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and update customers on repair progress.
• Explain and sell repairs based on profit matrix while communicating value and cost to customers.
• Coordinate with Store Manager, Technicians, Parts Manager, and Quality Control to ensure timely service and quality checks.
• Manage expectations by setting and updating estimated completion times.
• Escort waiting customers to the shop and present findings/quotes within 15 minutes of vehicle pull-in.
• Create and manage repair orders, quote repairs, and provide invoices at pickup.
• Assist customers with extended warranties and claim processes.
• Update the status board and reflect RO status in Tekmetric.
