Job summary

Group 1 Automotive, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in a state-of-the-art facility. You will greet customers, listen to concerns, and provide accurate repair estimates while driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year dealership experience.
• Must be able to write clear and precise repair instructions.
• Provide estimates for labor and parts.
• Establish/determine customers method of payment.
• Obtain customers signature on PO.
• Continuous communication on jobs throughout the day.
• Coordinate with manufacturer and/or extended warranty companies for approval in advance of repairs.
• Be knowledgeable of products and services.
• Meet or exceed sales quotas set by management.
• Test drive vehicles when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and courteously.
• Listen to customers' reasons for service needs.
• Offer diagnostic services or repairs to meet concerns.
• Provide accurate estimates for services or repairs.
• Handle complaints professionally and escalate when needed.
• Keep management informed of customer issues and resolutions.
• Answer incoming calls promptly and assist inquiries.
• Monitor repair progress and update customers on changes.
