Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a field service technician to service critical power systems including UPS and battery banks for government, institutional, and commercial clients. The role requires 2+ years OEM experience in power electronics and现场 travel with a willingness to be on call 24/7 when not on PTO.

Technicians will operate equipment, perform maintenance, and provide technical support while upholding M.C. Dean standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• Minimum of 2+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and related electrical apparatuses.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and service UPS systems, batteries, and related power infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance and on-site emergency service calls.
• Complete paperwork such as Field Service Reports and Time Sheets timely and accurately.
• Coordinate with on-site subcontractors and provide customer technical support.
