Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an on-site Critical Power Technician in White Plains to maintain and service UPS and battery systems for government, institutional, and commercial facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, on-call emergency service, and on-site engineering support, ensuring safety and high reliability of critical power infrastructure. The role requires extensive field work, adherence to standards, and coordination with team leads.

Qualifications

• 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and associated electrical apparatuses.
• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service on UPS and critical power equipment.
• Inspect, test, and repair power electronic systems and related components.
• Interface with customers and provide technical support.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain field paperwork.
• Maintain equipment and travel as required.
