Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. seeks an experienced technician for Critical Power maintenance, troubleshooting UPS and battery systems in high-profile facilities. You will inspect, test, and service power electronics and support engineering teams across on-site projects.

Requirements include a 2-year or higher electrical degree or equivalent training, 7+ years OEM experience, and the ability to travel and work on call. Company offers a competitive benefits package and 401(k).

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university, or equivalent field or military training.
• 7+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, test equipment, and associated electrical apparatuses like switchgears, panels, breakers, disconnects, ATSs, and generators.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel with independent work structure.
• Emergency call availability 24/7 unless on PTO or Off Call.
• Maintain/safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments.
• Battery repair & replacement; installations and replacements.
• Perform required preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled.
