Job summary

M.C. Dean is a leading provider of power and cybersecurity solutions seeking a Field Service Technician for the Critical Power Group. The role requires travel to customer sites to service UPS systems, batteries, and related power equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency calls, and document service reports while adhering to safety standards. A degree in Electrical/Electronics and 3+ years of UPS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent training.
• 3+ years of experience with UPS systems, batteries, and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to customer sites with independent work structure.
• Emergency call availability 24/7, unless on PTO or off call.
• Maintain safeguarding of equipment, tools, and instruments.
• Install and repair static switch and PDU systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled under contract.
• Provide technical support to customers and document field reports.
