Job summary

Truist is hiring a Universal Banker to deliver timely client transactions and accurate records while guiding customers through digital banking options. You will support outbound calls and IRM activities to understand client needs, and you will participate in leadership routines and ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service excellence.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a willingness to work weekends or extended hours, and the ability to travel for temporary staffing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs
• Ability to work weekends or extended hours

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience through courteous conversations and transactions.
• Educate clients on digital and self-service banking options (ATMs, Online, Mobile).
• Support sales by outbound calling and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in all components of the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service capabilities.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
