Job summary

Asplundh Careers is seeking a Trimmer/Climber Foreperson to oversee daily crew operations, coordinate work, and enforce safety protocols at project sites in Minnesota. This full-time, non-exempt role involves training, reporting, and ensuring productive, compliant performance on job sites.

The position requires strong leadership, field experience, and a valid driver’s license, with competitive hourly pay and benefits. DOT safety standards and union dues may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding of drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Possess organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to safely drive an approved company vehicle.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Willing to pay union dues.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after orders from General Foreperson.
• Conducts field training and retraining for crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policies.
• Obtains access permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains accurate records, timesheets, and reports for crew operations.
• Controls crew costs and uses resources efficiently.
• Furnishes reports on orders completed, time, and incidents.
